[143] Bane: Gladiators and more Sun Jan 13 17:04:23 2013 To: all
Today, bash and stun have been tweaked to have a lesser stacking effect. While little has changed to bash and stun for a single glad, an effort has been made to reduce the effect of multiple glads bashing into a single (non-mob) target.
The way in which basic hits are handled (specificly 2nd - 7th attack skills) has been revamped. Successive hits are now less dependent on previous hits. This means gladiators will be compensated a bit with a higher chance toward basic hits (as they are the only class to have all 7 attack skills). Both bash/stun and the new basic hits will be evaluated and tweaked where neccesary.
Furthermore, parry and dodge have been given a workover as well. While a blinded character was more likely to not be parried before today (yes that's really how it used to work), that is no longer the case. But that is not all: parry and dodge now take your weapon skills into account. Being skilled with the weapontype of choice of your adversary will now make a difference.
Some other smaller changes: - Some more potentially crashy things fixed - Grouped people now see eachother like friends - PKlegend now shows your rank even if you're not in the top 30
More to come!
